About Our Staff

Dr. Blackmore attended the University of Texas for his undergratuate education, where he majored in biology with a chemistry minor.  He then went on to Baylor College of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1999.  He joined Valley Ranch Dental after graduating, and has been serving the area for 10 years. His passion for providing the best dental care for his patients has lead Dr. Blackmore to complete numerous continuing education courses, especially in the area of cosmetic dentistry.   The first thing you will notice about Dr. Blackmore is his fun-loving attitude and his stress-free approach to dentistry.  His gentle touch and jovial demeanor comfort his patients during treatment.  Dr. Blackmore is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society.

Dr. Blackmore has two daughters, Emily and Sarah.  In his spare time, Dr. Blackmore loves to play golf and enjoy the outdoors.

Dr. Snelson received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in 1970.  He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1973.  Dr. Snelson opened Valley Ranch Dental in 1986, where he has served the community for more than 20 years.  During this time, Dr. Snelson was also an instructor at Baylor College of Dentistry in the crown and bridge department.  With over 30 years of experience practicing dentistry, you can be assured that Dr. Snelson has the expertise for all of your dental needs.  Dr. Snelson's calm demeanor and gentle touch makes all of his patients feel at ease in the chair.  Dr. Snelson is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society.

Dr. Snelson has two daughters, Deirdre and Lesley.  He has a grandson, Noah.  His hobbies include golf and travel.
